Interactive English lesson at Corvin Mátyás Grammar School in Budapest

On 30 April 2019 we visited Corvin Mátyás Grammar School in the 16th district with 9 international students. The students were from Ethiopia, Egypt, India, Ghana, Kenya, Bhutan, Pakistan and from Kyrgyzstan.

The aim of this brand-new project of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences is on the one hand to offer primary and secondary school students the opportunity to meet our foreign students, to talk to them and to get to know each other’s culture better, while on the other hand our main concern is to help children be more sensitive and open towards other cultures and traditions. During class our university students presented their countries, sat among the grammar school students, talked about their culture and simply had conversations with the students. It was fun 😊. The project will be continued.
