The annual scientific conference organised for bachelor, master and PhD-students will be held at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of Szent István University, Gödöllő, Hungary under the auspices of the Visegrad University Association.

Month of Hungarian Science with international students

On 13 November 2015, the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the Szent István University Gödöllő organized a scientific conference with the participation of foreign students studying at the BSc, MSc and PhD courses of the Faculty. Nearly 30 lecturers and students attended the event and could listen to 10 presentations about 11 countries from all over the world. During the conference, the participants could have a virtual travel to Montenegro, Uzbekistan, Japan, Kazakhstan, Gambia, Ghana, Philippines, Nigeria, Egyipt, India and Iran.

The e-Agriculture aims to enhance agriculture and rural development through improved information and communication processes. It involves the conceptualization, design, development, evaluation and application of innovative ways to use ICTs in the rural domain. Technological application, facilitation, support of standards and norms, capacity building, education and extension all belong to the broader concept of e-Agriculture.

Lecturers and students of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences took part in an international scientific conference, called Euro-Agroland 2015, which was held on 1-2 June 2015 in Nitra, organized jointly by the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and the Slovak Univesity of Agriculture. The major topic of the conference was sustainable agriculture and land use. The papers are expected to be published in international journals with impact factor after the conference.
