This year the Szent István University will host the general meeting of VUA (Visegrad University Association - http://www.vua.uniag.sk) between 18 and 20 September 2016.

Dear GTK students,

The Faculty celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2016. In order to create the visual portfolio of the jubilee year, we invite you to participate in a logo contest.

The works submitted will be evaluated by the Faculty Jubilee Committee. The best work will be appreciated.

Deadline: 15 March, 2016, midnight

On 14 December 2015, a workshop was held in the Ministry of Agriculture for the new scholars of the joint scholarship.

A reception for Stipendium Hungaricum (scholarship program of the Government of Hungary) scholars was held in Budapest, on 10 December 2015 where a limited number of our students had the opportunity to represent Szent István University.

It is a contest of videos which promotes Szent Istvan University, shows its unique features, facilities, history, programs, student life (in general or your own student life), etc. Contestants can participate individually or as a team (maximum number of students in a team is 5). There are three options to participate:

Academic year 2015/2016 was officially opened on 7th Sept 2015.

The e-Agriculture aims to enhance agriculture and rural development through improved information and communication processes. It involves the conceptualization, design, development, evaluation and application of innovative ways to use ICTs in the rural domain. Technological application, facilitation, support of standards and norms, capacity building, education and extension all belong to the broader concept of e-Agriculture.
