International Cooperation Culture Award to SZIU

Szent István University has just recently been awarded the International Cooperation Culture Award by Tempus Public Foundation, the National Agency of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP). The award is given to only one university annually for outstanding performance in high-quality international projects and promoting a culture of internationalization and global perspectives.

Marcelo Crivella, Brazilian Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, and Brazilian Ambassador Sergio Eduardo Moreira Lima visited SZIU on March 4th, 2013.

Dr. Erika Michéli, vice-rector for international relations, welcomed the Minister and his delegation and presented the university's teaching and research capacity, emphasizing that our MSc and PhD courses in English are ready to host Brazilian students.

International Fair

The second annual International Study Abroad Fair was held in the Aula of the main SZIE campus in Gödöllő on February 20th, 2013. Representatives from partner universities, current exchange students, national funding agencies, and ex-Erasmus students manned 20 booths and answered the questions of both SZIE students and faculty who wanted to learn more about the study and research abroad possibilities available to them.
