This year’s Japanese month started on 28 February 2018. Japanese month is a tradition at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. Japanese students arrived from Josai University, Japan within the framework of the Japanese-Hungarian exchange programme for a one-month touristic training. Apart from the one-month exchange programme, another group of 18 Japanese people arrived within the frame of a one-week long study tour. First Dr. Henrietta Nagy, vice dean for international relations of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences greeted the Japanese guests and then the Japanese students gave lectures on different fields in tourism to the Hungarian students.
Students participating in the one-month exchange programme will study different subjects in tourism and they will also join economics and management courses in English-language. They will participate in Japanese classes and in several cultural and professional programmes in order to get acquainted with our university and our Hungarian and foreign students, our country’s culture, history and its gastronomy.
